Voting Rules Enacted by Wisconsin State Legislature will Affect Voting for the May Recall Primary

One of the changes in the newly enacted Voter ID Law that remains in effect for the April Primary is that the schedule for both voting by absentee ballot and registering to vote has changed.  Voters will no longer be able to absentee vote or register to vote in the Clerk's office on the day before the election.  Instead, ABSENTEE BALLOTS MUST BE CAST AND REGISTRATION MUST TAKE PLACE BY 5:00 PM ON THE FRIDAY BEFORE THE ELECTION. Please see: VOTING BY ABSENTEE BALLOT.
