Welcome to the Town of Dunn
Help Decide How the Greater Stoughton Area Should Grow
Stoughton's population is projected to increase by nearly 7,000 residents by 2035. Here's your opportunity to weigh in on how future growth should happen. The City of Stoughton and towns of Dunn, Dunkirk, Rutland and Pleasant Springs are jointly working with the Capital Area Regional Planning Commission (CARPC) to explore different scenario of future growth through the Future Urban Development Area (FUDA) planning study.
A survey will be available online and at the Dunn Town Hall. An online survey will also be avialable at: http://www.capitalarearpc.org/Stoughton_FUDA_Scenario.html.
The survey asks 19 questions across 10 topics at display stations and online. The website features a unique interactive survey that highlights the potential impacts of your development selections on the amount of land developed, the cost of new streets, pipes, etc.
This is an opportunity to share your opinions about how future growth should occur in Stoughton.
